There's a good chance you remember the moment: dirt under your fingernails, a small pot on a classroom windowsill, the quiet anticipation of waiting to see if something would actually grow. For me, it was Marigolds in Mrs. Garlo's first grade class. The concept couldn't be simpler: give a seed good soil, a little water, some sunlight, and the patience to let nature do its work. In return, something beautiful, or delicious, shows up at your door.
We plant metaphorical seeds all the time. We make introductions, share recommendations, put our credibility behind people and ideas we believe in. What's rarer is actually being rewarded for it. The Appleseed Program is our way of changing that.
What Is the Appleseed Program?
Appleseed is Watson Analytical's referral incentive program, and we designed it to be genuinely generous, because generosity is core to how we do business.
When you refer someone to Watson Analytical and that relationship turns into work, you receive 15% of the gross profits generated by that customer. Not a token gift card. Not a one-time flat fee. A meaningful share of real business value, paid monthly, for up to a year.
To put that in plain terms: refer a colleague whose engagement generates $100,000 in business, and Watson Analytical cuts you a check for $15,000. If that same customer brings $1 million in business, your check is $150,000. The seeds you plant have real roots and real fruit.
Why "Appleseed"?
The name is a nod to John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed, who, as legend has it, walked from Pennsylvania through Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, planting apple seeds across the landscape with extraordinary generosity and no expectation of personal gain. Those seeds became orchards. Those orchards fed communities for generations.
We chose that name intentionally. When you introduce Watson Analytical to someone in your network, you're not just making a referral, you're planting something that can grow into a lasting, productive relationship for everyone involved. We want to honor that contribution the way it deserves to be honored.
Program Details
- Referral fee: 15% of gross profits realized from the referred customer
- Paid out: Monthly
- Duration: Effective for one year from the date of the referred customer's first engagement
- Timeline: The referred customer must deliver and pay for services within 3 months of submission
- Eligibility: The referral partner does not qualify if the prospective customer has been in direct contact with Watson Analytical within the preceding 18 months
- Our commitment: Once a referral is acknowledged, Watson Analytical is contractually bound by our Referral Source Agreement to fully honor every term and condition of the program — no exceptions, no fine print surprises
